It was the most incredible lightning storm I've ever seen. The sky lit up every five seconds or so for at least half an hour. These photos were taken from the lookout on One Tree Hill in Ararat.
Unfortunately the spectacle was the cause of many spot fires throughout the Grampians, which eventually devastated the vast majority of the national park.
