Dad, Darcy and I spent a night up on The Bluff in late August 2003. Looking out from the ridge, you've got a great view of Buller and Stirling - they're quite close. There had recently been a decent layer of fresh snow, and the weather was great - all round top conditions. Should have seen our igloo. Masterpiece of ice engineering if you've ever seen one!
